Job Description:
Development department:
Development is responsible for doing enhancements to the Product and also maintaining it. The employees in the dept are split by Product area into Development and Maintenance team responsible for that area.
Role:
The Primary activity obviously is Coding and good analytical skill will assist people in doing their roles. The role is primarily back office.
Helpdesk Department:
Support deals with problem logged by clients using TEMENOS products. The problem will be logged into Customer Support System. The problem has to be analyzed in detail by interacting with the clients through email system or by telephone and provide solution /work around. If the reported problem is a bug, it has to be simulated and documented for software resolution. Solution to support requests has to be within agreed time scales. Support runs on 24 x 7 shift and consultants are required to come in any of the three shifts including weekends.
Role:
- Has to analyze and identify the root cause of the problem assigned by the team leader.
- Interact with the client through email, Customer Support System or through the telephone for analysis and understanding of the problem in detail.
- If it is a system bug, highlight the bug with source code analysis/fix and pass the problem to the Maintenance Team.
- Provide a solution/workaround, document the same in detail with relevant examples and communicate effectively to the client.
Testing Department:
Responsible for Testing and certifying our Flagship Product Temenos T24 before it gets released to clients. Ensure all enhancements, bug fixes are tested and expectations met within a given timeframe. Scope includes preparation of Test plan, Test cases, Test scripts, Test results and User Guides. Test Methodology covers different types of testing like Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Adhoc Testing, Performance testing and Preparation of User Guides.
Role:
- Participate in Regression Testing and Integration Testing.
- Understand testing tools.
- Recreate, Document and Log defects found during testing.
- Maintain testing script database
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for a position with Temenos MUST HAVE:
- A graduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (CS / IT - B.E, B.Sc)
- A post graduate degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (MCA, M.Sc � IT/CS)
- Strong fundamentals in Basic Programming Skills (C, C++) & Database Knowledge
- Strong Analytical and Logical Skills
- Effective communication skills
- The right attitude to learn & grow.
