Applications are invited from female Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criterion and ordinarily the residents of respective States/UTs, for filling up vacancies in the rank of Constable (GD) in the Pay Scaleof Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590/- plus other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. Employees from time to time in “Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)” as shown against each State/UT.

The last date of receipt of applications will be 24 Dec 2007.

Age : 18 to 23 year (Cut off date for age will be 1st August,2007). Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Qualification : Matriculation or 10th Pass from a recognized board/university.

Height : 157 Cms ( 150 Cms for STs, 155 Cms for For candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of HP, Sikkim, NE States, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh region of J&K)

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. No fee will be charged from SC/ST candidates. The candidates shall attach the crossed/non refundable Bank Draft drawn in favour of authority mentioned in detailed adv.
