Recruitment for Engineering Analyst

Job Description :
NLC Nalco India Limited has 6 'Engineering Analyst' positions open in Kolkata, India. The Engineering Analyst is responsible for performing audits and troubleshooting of alarms from cooling water systems. This work is performed remotely using data coming to the Web from Nalco's proprietary Control Units located at customer sites. The engineers currently working in this position analyze water chemistry, system specific data, and electrical and mechanical components. They communicate audit results and trouble-shooting solutions to the cooling water controller owner through email and phone. The engineers may also need to analyze problems that site engineer is facing and give solutions for smooth running of the system. The position requires working in night / rotating shift. The successful applicants will be spending 1-2 months training at the Nalco India Headquarters in Kolkata.

Desired Profile :
Successful applicants will have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering with an aggregate of marks of at least 70 % or a GPA of 7.0. Candidates with Chemistry or any other appropriate Engineering Degree will also be considered. The applicants must have excellent written and oral English communication skills, the aptitude to learn technology tools (internet, software, automation), and enjoy technical problem solving.
Experience is not necessary, but preferred.
