Job Description :
TIBCO is seeking a Interns for its Technical Publications team at Pune. The Intern Technical Writer will work with other senior technical writers on manuals for various TIBCO products.

Desired Profile :
If you are keen to apply you must be able to:
- Plan, research, write, illustrate, and edit existing or new product manuals
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in interaction with various teams, and the ability to ask the right kind of questions
- Read and analyze functional specifications and other Engineering-authored technical documents to interpret overall functionality and product intricacies.
- Work extensively on the product to gain an understanding of the technical details and functioning
- Work independently through all stages of the Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC)
- Serve the roles of an editor and proofreader by participating in peer reviews of other writers' documentation
- Go beyond just delivering documentation content and seek ways to enrich the documentation keeping customers in mind
- Demonstrate individual initiative in a team environment

Prerequisites:
- Graduate in Computer Science / Engineering with 0-1 year experience in technical writing
- Strong understanding of software concepts and ability to quickly grasp new products and technologies
- Superlative written and verbal English language skills
- Proficiency in FrameMaker, WebWorks, and graphic tools such as Visio and Paint Shop Pro will be a plus
